  252. interface standard.  These include the Roland Sound Canvas, RAP-10, and
  253. compatibles, as well as add-on daughterboards for the Sound Blaster 16
  254. family. MPU-401 devices generally offer the highest level of performance
  255. and sound quality available, but users of Adaptec SCSI controllers may wish
  256. to select the "Skip auto-detection and configure driver manually" at the
  257. next menu to reduce the likelihood of MPU-401 detection problems. Software-
  258. emulated MPU-401 interfaces are not supported; if you have a Creative Labs
  259. AWE-32, you should select "Creative Labs AWE-32(TM) General MIDI" instead.
